On Thursday afternoon, May 28, 2009 about 30 of the employees from SWJ advertising agency arrived at The Bridge to host a celebration party for all the guests and staff. The party celebrated the one year anniversary of the opening of The Bridge. The SWJ staff volunteers brought enough cupcakes and ice cream to serve 1,000. On that very warm spring afternoon it was a celebratory treat, for sure. In addition to the refreshments, they brought large boxes of donations that included emergency clothing, underwear, flip flops and personal sized hygiene products. A big thank you goes out from all the guests and staff at The Bridge to SWJ for their generous donation of time and resources, making this a memorable anniversary indeed.
