NEWS HIGHLIGHTS
Homeless Advocates: MDHA is proud to introduce Dianne Isom, left, and Clare Nilson - the new co-chairs of MDHA's Homeless Forum. Thank you both for serving as leaders of this new advocacy group made up of people experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless individuals. The forum meets the second Friday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.

Membership Meeting: Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in MDHA’s May 10 membership meeting on family homelessness!

We appreciate our panelists: Rob Alberts, executive director of Family Gateway, one of our member agencies; Eliza Solender of Solender/Hall, Dabney Dwyer of Lake Highlands and the Episcopal Church of the Ascension. Thanks to Karen Hughes, president and CEO of Vogel Alcove, another member agency, for your moving presentation about homeless families’ childcare needs. MDHA receives $250,000 grant award from The Meadows Foundation
